Welcome to the DepthQ®VR Film Experience Download Page
To view our film experiences, you should already have downloaded and installed DepthQ®VR Player. Afterwards, please determine an appropriate bandwidth level, based on your system hardware per the following descriptions. Then download one or more of the hardware-appropriate .AVI film files found at the links below into the folder of your choice on your media hard drive.
Understanding DepthQ®VR Film Levels & Hardware Requirements
Our example film experiences are encoded for either the Oculus CV1 (90fps) or DK2 (75fps) Virtual Reality Headsets, and at three different bandwidths optimized to run smoothly on three different levels of hardware capability. All hardware levels meet at least the Minimum Oculus Spec, but increase the graphics card and hard disk requirements. Please select accordingly.
LEVEL 1 - Low Bandwidth: 4:2:0 color, Quality 50, 2304x3072; Additional Hardware:NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 video card,
plus a standard Hard Drive for media storage
LEVEL 2 - Medium Bandwidth: 4:2:0 color, Quality 70, 2880x3840; Additional Hardware:NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 video card,
plus a Solid-State Storage Device (SSD) for media storage
LEVEL 3 - High Bandwidth: 4:4:4 color, Quality 85, 2880x3840*; Additional Hardware:NVIDIA GeForce GTX TITAN X video card,
plus a Solid-State Storage Device (SSD) for media storage
*Slightly reduced from 4:4:4 color Q90 3072x4096 only due to WeTransfer download limitations
